Educational Qualifications
- Trade Apprentice: ITI pass certificate in relevant trade (e.g., Fitter, Electrician)
- Diploma Apprentice: Diploma in engineering/technology (recognized by State Council/University)
- Graduate Apprentice:
- Engineering streams: B.E/B.Tech
- General streams: B.A/B.Com/B.Sc (AICTE/UGC-recognized)
Selection Process
- Merit-Based Selection: No written tests! Candidates are shortlisted based on academic scores in their qualifying exams (ITI/Diploma/Degree).
- Tie-Breaker: If two candidates have identical marks, the older candidate ranks higher.
- Reservation Policy: Preference first given to candidates residing within 16 km of NPCIL sites. Remaining seats filled via all-India merit
